Pulse Pro 2.1
12-02-2012
Pulse Pro 2.1 is now out and available for download. This small update adds the ability to sort gallery photos. Now when you click into an image to add a caption, you can also set the order in which it appears (1-99). If no numbers are assigned to photos, they will be sorted by most recent as before.

The only other change in this release is that Redactor has been updated to version 8.2.1.
To get the latest version, go to pulsecms.com/getpro
I see that redactor has some very nice plugins on their website. Will this be implemented in the future? (like modal window, etc)
Thanks
Gille
Gille - The only two "Plugins" they have are Fullscreen and Clips. http://imperavi.com/redactor/docs/plugins/
I have the fullscreen already included. The modal thing you mentioned is more of an API capability, but I don't really think it applies to how Pulse is set up. Thats more for inline editing if I understand it.
I don't get it. I mean how the sorting works - on every image I see numer 1-99, there is not 2-99, 3-99. What 99 means? I guess the first number means positon, the 99 is the max limit of images?
PS. It would be much easy to implement the drag and drop function to let user sort images.
It's very simple, you just enter a number from 1-99 and that's how it will be sorted. By default all pics have no number in them to start. The 1-99 you see is just a placeholder that shows what values can go in the field, it's not an actual number.
Sorting only goes up to 99 because Pulse galleries are not intended to have more than 99 images each. Most user galleries average anywhere from 5-25 pictures in them.
Is it possible to buy the script without having the paypal account, or credit card ? I am not located in Your country...

I am looking at Your work from behind and I wish You all best with Your minimalistic CMS. I am using Your old freeware version on my localhost, and since then You've made huge step forward.
Second reason is the look of some images. Right now as I see, You've made solid/non-changing size of displaying images. Not all images looks good when they are "squeezed". So if the rezising function would have a "crop" option, it would be great.
There is flat file CMS that has the resizing functionality already, so I guess that is not something impossible.
I see you use pulse CMS as a CMS for it's own website. I want to ask, will the frontend template change soon to match the one of this website?
Yes, version 2.2 will have this new template which is based off the excellent Kube CSS framework. Should be out in another week or so.
when i right click to find out the image properties it points to
http://localhost//data/img/gallery/2/file0001800173071.jpeg
which is missing the pulsepro directory ? why is that..
my blocks work just fine..
